My mom is pretty sure my cat has cancer, he used to be a chubby cat. We got him from a shelter about 8 years ago and ever since we got him hes been having health problems but seemed to fight through each one with ease. Hes been losing a lot of weight fast. My mom wont take him to he vet because she said even if they say he has cancer theres nothing they can do. Is this true is there really nothing they can do for a cat with cancer?

My cat is eight years old, a little fat (or alot) :) . But anyway she has a lump on her chin about the size of a small pea. I don’t know what it is but I’m a little concerned because I have known the occasional dog to get cancer there. Is this normal or is it a problem.

He is an indoor cat. We adopted him about 7 months ago from an ad in the paper. and they said he was healthy. We saw the mama kitty and siblings all appeared healthy. He does get into the garbage at times before we catch him, how did he get them if it is worms??
